About the MetroWest Health Foundation

The MetroWest Health Foundation is a catalyst for a healthy MetroWest, providing over $5 million in annual financial support to meet the unmet health needs of twenty-five communities in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts.

The Foundation meets the health needs of our region’s residents by supporting community-based and community driven programs. From preventative and responsive care, to programs that serve infants to elders, the Foundation has provided over $30 million in financial support that helps residents and their families lead healthier lives.

We encourage and foster leadership on critical health issues. We work to cultivate and support health care professionals through scholarships, capacity building initiatives and formal leadership development programs. We regularly convene organizations and individuals to identify priorities and share solutions to health care issues.

We strive to be a responsible steward of an important community trust. We set high professional standards for the management of the Foundation’s resources, and are committed to transparency in our governance, grantmaking and finances. We also set high expectations for our grantees, seeking measurable results from every grant we make.
