Building resilient, healthy and equitable communities.
The MetroWest Health Foundation is a catalyst for a healthy MetroWest region, providing over $5 million in annual financial support to meet the health needs of 25 communities in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts.
Our work is currently focused on three complementary and reinforcing pillars:
- Inclusive communities that advance health equity and ensure that basic health needs are met
- Efficient and collaborative systems that integrate health, social and community services
- Adaptable leaders and institutions that foster innovation and practical solutions and develop resourceful and effective leaders.
These pillars are supported by an array of grantmaking strategies and program activities. We also work to cultivate and support health care professionals through scholarships, capacity building initiatives and formal leadership development programs. And, we regularly convene organizations and individuals to identify priorities and share solutions to health care issues in our region.
