Leonard Morse Grants Panel Welcomes Two New Members

The foundation's board of trustees recently elected Natick residents Alissa Caron and Cynthia Kouré to serve on the Leonard Morse Grants Panel.  The Panel is responsible for reviewing grant requests that benefit the Natick community.

Alissa brings to the panel over eight years of work experience in the field of public health. She currently works for JSI Research & Training Institute in Boston, where she provides technical assistance to grantees under the state's Prevention and Wellness Trust Fund. Cynthia has extensive experience working with nonprofit and government organizations in fundraising and grantwriting. She was the principal author of Natick's successful Drug Free Communities grant. Both Alissa and Cynthia were nominated for the Panel by the Natick of Board of Selectmen.

The election of Cynthia and Alissa also means we must say goodbye to two long-time members of the panel - Dennis Barr and Maureen Nguyen. Both Dennis and Maureen have served three three-year terms on the Panel. At a recent Panel dinner to thank Maureen and Dennis for their service, foundation CEO Martin Cohen said, "We will truly miss Maureen and Dennis as they both have brought so much insight and experience to the grant review process."

THANK YOU MAUREEN!

THANK YOU DENNIS!
