Scholarship Applications Are Now Available

April - Applications for scholarships for the fall academic term are now available. The deadline for applying is 4:00 pm on Friday, May 31st.

County Health Data Points to Areas for Improvement

April - US News & World Report recently issued their 2019 County Health Rankings. Counties that make up the MetroWest area (Middlesex, Worcester and Norfolk) all scored relatively high. However, the data also showed areas for improvement, such as the teen birth rate and preventable hospital admissions.

Mass. Census Equity Fund Announces Grants to Local Agencies for Outreach & Engagement Activities

April 2019 - With financial support provided by the MetroWest Health Foundation, the Sudbury Foundation and the Foundation for MetroWest, the Massachusetts Census Equity Fund recently made grants to MetroWest organizations to support outreach efforts to ensure an accurate census count in 2020.

April 1, 2019 - At its 20th Anniversary dinner, the MetroWest Health Foundation presented its 2019 Deborah Blumer Community Health Leadership Award to the School Health Services Division of the Framingham Public Schools.
